Join us at Loyola University Chicago’s fourth annual Climate Change Conference. This year’s conference, “Climate Justice: The Struggle for Our Common Home,” will feature discussion about our world’s current environmental issues (such as the water crisis in Flint Michigan and the pipeline protests at Standing Rock Reservation). The conference will stress the fact that climate change, increasing weather severity and food and water insecurity, undermines human rights.
United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on El Niño and Climate, Mary Robinson, will give the keynote address on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Mundelein Auditorium.
