‘The Weather of the Future: Heat Waves, Extreme Storms, and Other Scenes from a Climate-Changed Planet’ by Heidi Cullen
Heidi Cullen is one of America’s foremost experts on weather and climate change, as well as a senior researcher with Climate Central, a nonprofit science and news organization that analyzes and reports on climate science. Her 2011 book, The Weather of the Future: Heat Waves, Extreme Storms, and Other Scenes from a Climate-Changed Planet, predicts what different parts of the planet will look like in 2050 (just 33 short years away) if we don't reduce our current levels of carbon emissions. And yeah, it's scary.
