International Conference on Southeast Asian Weather and Climate 2013 (ICSA 2013)

Six government organisations including the Green Tree Foundation, Rajabhat University Chiang Mai, National Science Museum, The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology, Office of Royal Rain and Agricultural Aircraft and Northern Meteorological Centre as well as foreign organisations including Yunnan Province Metrological Society and Queensland University of Technology will all gather for the annual International Conference on Southeast Asian Weather and Climate 2013 (ICSA 2013) from the 27th to the 29th of November at Le Meridien hotel in Chiang Mai.
During the three day conference, over 1,000 academic scholars in the environment and meteorological field from all around the world will come together to exchange their ideas and thoughts through a series of events and discussions focused on the weather and climate situation in South East Asia. The some of the major topics that will be covered are the science of the weather, climate, disaster, agriculture, and its continuous affect on the food and weather in the area.
The ISCA is an annual event that is hosted by a different city in South East Asia every year. Last year’s conference was hosted by the city of Yunnan, China. This is a significant conference in the support and future of the environment and weather in Southeast Asia.
